Free GPSR Technical File and Risk Assessment Templates

Who fills these in: Article 9 puts the risk analysis and technical documentation on the manufacturer, before the product is placed on the market, kept up to date and available to authorities for 10 years. If you sell products under your own brand, that is usually you.

Template 1: Technical documentation (Article 9(2))

Article 9(2) sets out what the technical documentation contains. The first two rows are the minimum; the rest apply where appropriate given the possible risks.

Template 2: Risk assessment

Part A. Aspects to consider (Article 6(1)). Article 6(1) lists the aspects taken into account when assessing whether a product is safe. Record for each whether it is relevant and what you found.
