Is this website built on Shopify?
Paste any web address. We fetch the page exactly as a browser would and tell you whether it is a Shopify store, plus what we found while we were there.
Check any store in one click
Drag this to your bookmarks bar. Then on any Shopify store, click it and the report opens in a new tab.
What is this store built with?
It reads one thing: the address of the tab you are on. Nothing is installed, nothing runs on the store’s page, and no permissions are requested — which is the whole reason it is a bookmark and not an extension.
Every lookup is counted. See which apps and themes Shopify stores actually run — measured from real storefronts rather than ranked by listing position, and free to cite.
What this can and cannot see
It reads the homepage and the public product feed, exactly as a shopper’s browser would. That means it can name the theme the store publishes about itself, the apps whose own hosts appear in the page, and what the public feed contains.
It cannot see anything behind the admin: which apps are installed but silent on the storefront, what anything costs the owner, what sells, or any customer or order data. An app that is not listed has not been ruled out — the list contains what was matched and nothing else.
Common questions
How can you tell if a site is on Shopify?
Shopify leaves its own fingerprints in the page: a Shopify.theme object, assets served from cdn.shopify.com, and platform feature markers. This looks for those in the page a browser receives, so you can confirm it yourself with view-source.
Can a Shopify store hide that it is on Shopify?
It can remove some of the markers, and a few large stores do. It is much harder to remove all of them, but a “no” here means we found none of the ones we look for — not that the site has been proven to be something else.
Does this work on a password-protected or offline store?
No. If the page does not answer, or answers with a block or a rate limit, we say we could not open it rather than reporting an empty result. A store we cannot read is not a store we can judge.
