Which apps is this Shopify store running?

Paste a store address. We name the apps whose own hosts load on the storefront, and show you the host that gave each one away so you can check us.

Check any store in one click

Drag this to your bookmarks bar. Then on any Shopify store, click it and the report opens in a new tab.

What is this store built with?

It reads one thing: the address of the tab you are on. Nothing is installed, nothing runs on the store’s page, and no permissions are requested — which is the whole reason it is a bookmark and not an extension.

Every lookup is counted. See which apps and themes Shopify stores actually run — measured from real storefronts rather than ranked by listing position, and free to cite.

What this can and cannot see

It reads the homepage and the public product feed, exactly as a shopper’s browser would. That means it can name the theme the store publishes about itself, the apps whose own hosts appear in the page, and what the public feed contains.

It cannot see anything behind the admin: which apps are installed but silent on the storefront, what anything costs the owner, what sells, or any customer or order data. An app that is not listed has not been ruled out — the list contains what was matched and nothing else.

Common questions

How are the apps identified?

Only by their own hosts appearing in the page source. If the storefront loads a script from an app’s own domain, that app is named and the host is printed beside it. Nothing is inferred from how a page looks or behaves.

Why do big stores often show no apps?

Because many of them proxy third-party scripts through their own domain, or load them after first paint. The signal is genuinely absent from the page we read, which is different from the store having no apps.

Does an empty list mean the store uses no apps?

No, and this is the most important limitation to understand. A great many Shopify apps are admin-only and never put anything on the storefront at all — inventory, accounting, fulfilment, reporting. An app that is not listed has not been ruled out.
